Study Shows The US Cities Producing Most Sports Stars

A brand new study from OLBG has found out which cities in the United States are responsible for producing the most MLB stars, and the city of Chicago came out on top with more than 387 major league baseball stars being born in the Windy City.

The report also demonstrated which US cities producing the most major league athletes overall, as well as those where the most NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL stars were born.

‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Casts Thandiwe Newton

Netflix is gearing up for another season of their smash hit series ‘Wednesday’ and Season 2 will come with a new cast member as Thandiwe Newton is set to star in the new season, according to Variety.

Newton joins Steve Buscemi as newcomers to the monumentally successful Netflix original series.

‘Wednesday’ which stars Jenna Ortega, made it’s debut back in November 2022 and instantly smashed records for Netflix, joining an impressive list of hits for the entertainment streaming platform, ranking as one of the most-watched shows Netflix has ever reached.

‘Wednesday’ was  nominated for 12 Emmys, winning four.

Keanu Reeves Joins ‘Sonic 3’ Cast

Keanu Reeves is joining the cast of the upcoming video game movie franchise ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ which is currently slated to arrive in theaters on December 20th, according to The John Campea Show.

Per the report, Reeves will play Shadow in the new feature.

Paramount is hoping for continued success with the 3rd installment of the franchise as the original film, which arrived in 2020, impressive with $319 million globally at the box office, while the 2nd film, released in 2022, grossed $404 million globally.

‘FBI International’ Star Luke Kleintank Announces Departure

‘FBI International’ is set to bid farewell to one of their cast members as Luke Kleintank, who plays special agent Scott Forrester on the series, has officially announced that he will be leaving the show.

Kleintank’s last episode airs on May 7th.

“After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave FBI International,” Kleintank stated, according to Deadline. “This decision is driven by my unwavering commitment to my family, whose love and well-being are paramount in my life. I’m profoundly thankful for the extraordinary cast and crew of the show, who have not only been colleagues but also a family away from home. Their unwavering dedication and remarkable talents have made every moment on set an unforgettable journey that has enriched my life in countless ways. Lastly, I would also like to extend my thanks to the fans who have supported us through the first three seasons.”

Earlier this year, Heida Reed departed from the show after playing the role of Special Agent Jamie Kellett since 2021.
